,

Prayers to you, Elizabeth

Elizabeth, when I worked with you at Thomas More College, I had the pleasure of meeting Tony and observing the love that the two of you shared. It was beautiful and inspiring to see how you would “light up” when talking about him. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though we haven’t talked in awhile, I want you to know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time. May God’s grace cover you and may the Holy Spirit bring you peace.

To the Family of Tony Champ

I worked with Tony on and off for the past ten years either as co-worker or as a customer. Tony always treated everyone with respect and had a way of making one feel at ease when he was around. I’m sadden to hear of his sudden passing our thoughts and prayers go out to the Champ family during this time of remembering Tony and the special wit he had whenever he was near. My thoughts are with the family of Tony Champ

Dear Liz, Michael, Melinda, Stacey, Jimmy and Eric–So very sorry to hear about Tony. He was such a wonderful man, great smile and great teaser. I know how much he will be missed. I would think about your family every time I was reminded about Don’s passing and how great it was that the Champ family was represented at our home and the services after. I really wish I could be there to express my sympathy in person. Just know that lots of people from Colo are thinking about you and remembering with love, all the great times spent with Tony and your family.

Keeping you in thoughts and prayers

We were blessed to have Tony work with us for almost 5 years here at Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati. Patients and their families were of the utmost importance to Tony. He attended to all job related duties with the patients and families in mind. He managed all department activities in a calm, courteous, and helpful manner. Tony joined in activities and volunteered to help with special events. Shortly after starting here, Tony volunteered to demonstrate how to make his famous potato soup for a group of ladies. They loved the demonstration and everyone got a bowl of the wonderful soup. While we are saddened and will miss Tony, we are very grateful to have known him. His positive impact on the hospital and all who knew him will never be forgotten.

To the Family of Tony Champ

I am sorry for your loss. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and Tony today in my prayers. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reminds us that God is always there to comfort us. I pray this helps you to find solace.

Champ Family

I had the pleasure of working with Tony at UK and he could always put a smile on your face. Really don’t think I ever remember seeing Tony without a smile. He was always supportive and encouraging, when you had a bad day Tony always made it better with that smile of his. I now have the pleasure of working with his son Eric at Baptist Health Lexington and like his father, Eric does the same thing for everyone here. It is with great sadness that we all say farewell to Tony, and my sincere sympathy to all of the family.

Champ Family

I am so sorry for your loss. Tony was not only a great person to work with he was truly a good friend. I will never forget all the times I would be talking to him and he would just reach up and turn his hearing aide down and we would both laugh. I had the honor and privilege of working with Tony for years at The University of Kentucky Hospital and although he had moved to another position we kept in touch by phone. He would call just to check in and say HI and ask me how I was doing and we would catch up on the grandchildren. I will always remember that smile and how he could quickly turn around a bad day or bad situation into something positive.

I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
