DAVIS, William Thomas “Tommy” Jr., of Burlington, Ky., formerly of Richmond, Va., departed this life July 25, 2010 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Lynn Woodard and her husband, Scott, of Burlington, Ky. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, George Jeter Davis and his wife, Leah; a special and devoted niece, Beth Jones; and other caring nieces and a nephew, all of Richmond, Va. Tom started his career with Southern Railroad in Richmond, Va., and retired in 1988 as Senior Terminal Train Master in Cincinnati, Ohio after 44 years of service. Tom was one of the “good ole boys” who grew up in Dog Town in South Richmond, where he made many true and loyal friends. A private burial is to be held in Erlanger, Ky. Tom will be sorely missed but will live in our hearts forever.
