COLD SPRING – William A. Hosea, 90, died July 22 at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home, Latonia.

He was in the shipping and export business, vice-president of H.J. Hosea & Sons and served on the U.S.S. Yorktown during WWII and fought in the Battle of Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway.

Survivors include his nieces, Linda Barrett of Fort Thomas, Kathryn Hosea of Taylor Mill, Cindy Roth of Fort Thomas, and nephews, Carl Hosea of Erlanger and David Hosea of Fort Thomas.

A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate. Linnemann Funeral Homes and Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
