William “Bill” Lloyd Slayback, born November 30, 1926, passed away on February 3, 2016 at his home in Erlanger. Bill retired from Interlake Steel and was a Master Mason of Golden Rule Lodge #109. He served in the Merchant Marines, Army, and Air Force. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, music, and frequenting flea markets and yard sales. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Osborne Slayback in 2008; his parents, Benjamin F. and Blanche (Williamson) Slayback; and his brother, Benjamin F. Slayback Jr. Survivors include his daughters, Connie Wright of Erlanger, and Pat (Ken) Mullen of Independence; and his son, William C. Slayback of Erlanger. He also leaves behind his 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
